Our Philosophy
Statistics of India
Population: 1.25 billion. Portion of population below the poverty line: > 22%. Human
Development Index: 0.554. Rank in public education standards: 136th in the world.
Let's start changing this through tangible development.
India's current state is not one that mandates complacence, but action. Our foresight on India's development in the future is marked with hope. When common citizens have strong social responsibility, prosperity is inevitable. We don't place blind faith in luck or chance. Instead, we seek to actively be the change that we wish to see in society.
One child at a time, one student at a time, one school at a time, one family at a time, one livelihood at time... we hope to lift India out of poverty and foster sustainable development.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words (and so is a Logo)
The logo accurately represents Bharatiyam's mission and philosophy. The red bird is a phoenix, a bird is reborn from its own ashes after death. This is symbolic of India's current education and livelihoods conditions: weak, withering, and in need of help. But through Bharatiyam's initiatives, we hope to reinvent these systems and allow them to rise to the world's best. Therefore, the phoenix rises from its own ashes while carrying the planet with it. The world is wrapped by a book, signifying that our planet is supported by education and capabilities of the human race.
